eGuidelines is based on Guidelines, the collection of primary care clinical guideline summaries designed as a reference tool for the development of local guidelines. The clinical guideline summaries in Guidelines are deliberately concise; readers are strongly advised to refer to the original guidelines as referenced at the end of each summary. Readers are strongly advised to refer to the summaries of product characteristics when a clinical guideline summary describes a drug therapy or when full details and the clinical significance of the products' contraindications, special precautions, drug interactions, adverse reactions or overdose are required. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the clinical guideline summaries, this does not diminish the requirement to exercise clinical judgement and the publishers can not accept liability for any errors and omissions.

The placement of an advertisement in proximity to a guideline summary does not imply endorsement for the product by the body developing the guideline. The views and opinions of contributors are not necessarily those of Guidelines, its publishers, advisers or advertisers.
